The installation can take between a couple of days to week for either Engineered, Hybrid or Solid Timber Flooring. When solid timber floor is installed we allow another 2-5 days after installation for Sanding and Polishing.

How long does the flooring installation process take?
Can timber floors be installed over existing flooring?
Hybrid and Engineered Flooring can be floated over existing level tiles or timber flooring which makes them an easy solution.
Installation for Solid timber requires the existing tiles to be removed. Solid timber can be trowel glued and secret nailed directly onto yellow tongue. Installation over a slab is first, black plastic as a moisture barrier followed by ply pinned into the slab followed by the timber of your choice.
How do I maintain and clean my timber floors?
We recommend a cleaner specifically designed for timber flooring such as Bona or Loba that is PH neutral with a spray mop and a removable pad. It ready to use and thoughly cleans and potects your timber flooring. We reccomend a micro fibre pad that can be washed after use.
What should I do if my timber floors get scratched or damaged?
A timber floor is a floor for life and should be enjoyed by your family. Scratches can be minimised by having door Matts, Felt placed under furniture legs and by wearing soft bottom shoes that dont collect gravel. If a scratch appears it generally fades after a couple months. There are a variety of restore products that can be used by the homeowner periodically that can freshen up a timber floor. The beauty of timber floors is they can be sanded and polished in the future to look as new again.
