Our solid timber floors are dried to Victorian standards. This means our installers meet the delivery truck, carry the timber into the house and start laying the floor. Our installers check the moisture level of the timber prior to installation as well as the moisture level of the sub floor to ensure the timber is set to Australian Standards

With new home’s we install the floor directly after the plaster is installed. This means that the skirts, architraves and kitchens are installed after the timber floor. We than come back and sand and polish the floor at the end of fit out prior to carpet just before you get the keys to your new home.

Where the timber floor will be joining carpet and tiles, the timber floor is often higher. We have various methods to avoid having step-ups between the different floor coverings. We will discuss with you the different options and use the one that you prefer.
